Why should I refer people to this site?

Because by referring people you could win a prize! The prizes are yet to be determined, but we’re thinking iPods and other gadgets/widgets, and restaurant gift certificates too. There will be a total of 8 prizes to be won. You have nothing to lose, as eferrals are anonymous – NONE of the information that you disclose to this site is made available to those you refer.

Here’s how it works. There will be prizes for the top three referrers; the rest will be placed in a lottery, with odds of winning increasing with the number of successful referrals. You get credited with one successful referral for each person that registers using your promo code (which is generated when you sign up, and which you can find when you refer people to us using the “Refer Friends” page on the site or at registration) and uploads a photo. You also get credit for registering using a promo code that somone else sent you. So for example, suppose you refer 20 emails to us, and 15 of these sign up using your promo code and upload a photo, and you yourself signup up using someone else's code. You have 16 successful referrals. If someone else refers 1000 people to us but only 14 sign up (and upload a photo) using that person’s promo code (and does not sign up using a promo code), that person gets credited with 14 successful referrals. You are thus ahead of that person.

The draw for prizes will take place after 1000 people have signed up. You can send referral emails when registering, and again after you've registered.
